GIANT TWISTER-STYLE GAMEBOARD TO TANGLE-IT-UP AT PARK GRILL

Chicago’s Park Grill in Millennium Park to Host Seven Daughters ‘Twisted & Tangled’ Tournament.

WHAT:

Watch hundreds of Chicagoans get their hands and feet tangled up on a larger-than-life Twister-style game board filled with colorful dots and human players set up on The Plaza at Park Grill in Millennium Park. Our Twisted & Tangled mat is 24 feet wide x 40 feet long and can accommodate 20 players per match! Throughout the morning and afternoon, contestants (age 21+) will compete by spinning the color wheel to determine their next move. We are expecting 1,000 different contestants to play within a four-hour period. Due to the scarcity of colored circles, players will often be required to put themselves in unlikely or precarious positions, eventually causing someone to fall. As soon as a player falls or touches the mat with an elbow or knee, the player is eliminated.  The winner of each game is the last person remaining on the mat.

WHEN:

5:30 – 8 a.m.  Group demonstration/availability for morning news broadcasts/live shots

11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Open to the general public (age 21+).  1,000 people expected to play in this four hour period.

WHERE:

Under the tent on the south patio at The Plaza at Park Grill

11 N. Michigan Avenue

East side of Michigan Avenue at Madison

WHY:

Why not? It’s a celebration of summer in the city at the top dining venue at Chicago’s Millennium Park.

Park Grill is also promoting a new pair of wines Seven Daughters Winemaker’s Blend, now available at the restaurant. Complimentary Seven Daughters wine tastings will be available to those 21 and older from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
